TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. But factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
